Supporting women and families rebuilding after domestic violence, crisis, or hardship. Because every woman deserves a safe, hopeful new beginning — and no one should have to start over with nothing.
Leaving a dangerous situation takes extraordinary courage. The Fresh Start Program makes sure that courage is met with immediate, tangible support — because the moment a woman decides to begin again, she shouldn't have to do it empty-handed. We walk alongside every woman on that journey with the supplies, connections, and compassion she needs to rebuild her life with dignity and hope.
What's in a Fresh Start Kit
Every kit is assembled with care and tailored to the needs of the woman or family receiving it. No two journeys are the same — and neither are our kits.
A Fresh Start Kit is more than a collection of supplies. It is a signal that someone cares — that a community showed up when it mattered most. Each kit is thoughtfully assembled to help a woman or family establish a foundation of stability, cleanliness, and comfort as they begin a new chapter.
Kits are distributed confidentially and without judgment through our network of community partners, shelters, schools, and service agencies. We meet women where they are — because starting over is hard enough without having to ask for help twice.
If selected items are unavailable, our team works to source alternatives or connect recipients with additional community resources to fill the gap.
